I’m Kevin Day, a photojournalist and writer who explores the deeper meaning of wine.

While I am based in Denver, Colorado, I frequently visit the wine countries of Italy, France, Austria and Germany, as well as domestic havens for wine, California and Oregon. I am the author of the award-winning book, Opening a Bottle: Italy, and the founder of the photo-rich online magazine of the same name — openingabottle.com.
I shoot with a Leica Q3 as well as a Canon 5D MKIV, which I mostly use for tilt-shift landscape photography.
In addition to being a wine writer and photographer, I am a public speaker, the Brand Ambassador for Wines of Alto Adige, and a Certified Fora Travel Advisor.
